Jamie, how you guys in the Deep South handle with heat indexes in the 100s for up to 3 months straight every year I'll never know.

On the other hand, I'll gladly also trade your mild, 50-60 degree winters for our icy New York Januarys and Februarys. I'll even ship two feet of nice snow for ya! :D

My hair actually lies even smoother and sleeker the wetter it gets.

You guys out on Long Island have it sweet with the direct sea breeze off the Atlantic, right here in the middle of the city we have to deal with the urban heat island effect. Its not warm enough to offer that much relief during our winters, and it becomes just another added annoyance during the summer adding in an extra 5 to 8 degrees.

And thank you to everyone for your kind words, I really didn't do anything to it LMAO ok I'm lying,[ I did a olive oil soaking two nights before, I then vigorously did a thorough CO rinse with my White Rain Tropical Coconut in the shower last night to remove the excess oil, after that I let my hair completely air-dry. After my hair completely dried naturally, I ran it over the flat iron for about 4 or 5 times over each section. ]

Yes, my hair is already naturally pin straight, but my natural texture without any heat styling is like this:

so when I really want to form that perfectly sleek, shiny straight line I will submit to the evils of the blow dryer and flat iron.
