A while back (on the archives) someone posted a PSA type of thread talking about having their scalp tested for hair loss. I can't find the thread, the type of Dr. or what ended up being wrong with her.

Does anyone have that info or remember who it was?

I want to go see a Dr. because my hair hasn't recouped from my post partum shed but I am not sure which Dr. to start with. My bloodwork is totally normal.

I remember the thread but not what they found out. Or where it is, but they suggested a Trichologist. I am pretty sure that it was someone that Heidi W. knew by reputation at least that was recommended as the one to go to. But I need to see if I can find the thread.:D

Some times though on blood work they will tell you that they are fine, as in meaning that they are within tolerances, but not enough for you to grow good and healthy hair. I would find out the actual figures on the blood work and to some checking as a place to start. Good luck in your search.

Is it this (http://archive.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=53728)one? That member isn't around anymore, though, as far as I know.

Thank you both! The one by Smara is the one I was thinking of but the ones from Heidi are great, too!

Off to read!
