After more than a year of hesitating, he finally took the plunge and tried a CO wash :) and guess what? - we had to buy a giant bottle of conditioner as he is a CO convert now! :p

His hair looks great. I wonder if this will continue working for him. I find I can only CO once a week or less, otherwise my hair gets greasy-looking and limp. And yes - I've followed all the directions about working up a light lather and rinsing until the warm water turns cold.

The same is for me. I wash my hair with diluted SLS shampoo once a week and CO wash in between.

Very nice. I'm a recent CO convert myself. Love what it's doing to my hair (really helps to bring out my curls too!) and have not experienced any negative side effects yet (touch wood).

ETA: Wow! I did not even read the post above before posting mine! They are very similar. I guess this is the perfect proof that it is the truth. His hair IS shiny and smooth! hehe!
