2nd anniversary of the big chop

Yeah, seems like a lot of lhc-aversaries are in the summer, no? Well here's my picture chronicle :D

Here is when I first got it cut in the beginning of August 2007

And now today! (I'm three days early, but I'm going on a trip today so I wanted to post it 3 days early instead of 20 days late, y'know?) ;)

As you can see it looks a lot darker. I'm not sure why, actually, but the brighter bits of red are henna over chlorine damage (I used to swim). Maybe the 2008 pic was lighter for that reason? I also started henna in June 2008 so the first anniversary pic is indeed hennaed as well.

I just find the color difference odd. Maybe it's the lighting :shrug: Maybe the flash is just brighter in the other pic? Maybe it's the fact that I'm oiling more? Today's pic is slightly oiled also... Just a bit of info for you guys! I know I can always get awesome support here :flower:

That is STUNNING progress, especially between last year and this year! And your color is also very rich, I actually think the effects of the chlorine actually gave you a beautiful shade of red.
