Goodmorning everyone (well, it's morning for me!)

I am having a hair problem and it has made me super crabby this morning! I have a lot of little hairs that stick up on the top of my head and water wont put them down. But I have given up styling products so I'm not sure what to do to tame them. I used to just spray a little hairspray onto my hand and smooth them down but I know hairspray is bad so I wont use it anymore. Any natural or undamaging ways I can put down all these little sticky upy hairs so I wont be so crabby about it in the morning? :p I dont know why it gets me so worked up but it does

How about just a touch of oil? When I need to tame wild hairs that's what I use. It doesn't take much not even a fingernails worth...

Kimberlily's defrizz spray (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=277) is an option, or maybe just plan aloe-vera gel? Oils may work, but I would be afraid of putting too much and making it greasy.

I'd do the aloe vera over the oil. Some people here also use it as productto help hold curler curls.

I've got some very wirey little sticky-up hairs that laugh at oil and aloe vera gel, so I reach for Natures Gate Styling Putty. Excellent product! It only takes a little on my fingertips, and those stubborn hairs lay right down. I can comb through it later without much trouble.

let them stick up...show off your new baby hairs proudly...they will be long enough within the next week or 2 to hold themselves down

I'd just tie a scarf around my head as a headband to cover them up for awhile until they get long enough to lie flat on their own. I'd also try parting my hair in a slightly different spot to see it that would help conceal.

I love aloe vera for this! I apply it while it's still a little wet, and it hold those little guys down pretty well.

Okay so a lot of you like Aloe Vera for this. Where do I find that? At walmart in the hair stuff?

I found mine at Rite-Aid among the skin care stuff. Don't get the kind sold for sunburns, which is usually green. Get the clear stuff.
