So I was bunning my hair the other day, and I did not like the way it turned out. So I tried something a little different, and this is what it looked like! Not the best pics, but it is really hard to take photos inside. :rolleyes: It is a smooth surface anyhow. :cheese:

It is actually a modified lazy wrap bun. I do the bun, then I pull the top down like a venetian blind (Is that what it is called?) and secure it whit a small pin. Reminds me of a snails shell. :D

I tried this yesterday once I visited the link on how to do the lazy wrap bun, but I couldn't quite get it. It might have been because I had a ton of oil in my hair from the previous night (I washed last night).

Do you put the stick in to hold the lazy wrap before you flip the top down? That's what I was doing, but my hair was all funky from the oil so it wouldn't go down evenly. I'll try again today with clean hair! :laugh: I hope I can get it as perfect and round-looking as yours, Hannah. So pretty!

The lazy wrap (a bit messy sorry about that) Try to make it pretty tight, the tighter lazy bun, the rounder cowrie shell bun.

Grab the top maybe half of it, and pull it down like a roll curtain.

I usually do the same thing with my French twists... I grab a piece of hair from the side and cover the whole piece again. It makes for a sleek and puffed look.
