A year's hair growth and changes

Here is my hair growth pictures from today and a year ago. The back is now bsl but the sides are still apl. I've probably trimmed about 1.5 inches total off it in the past year. A year ago I was hating the strange layers, but as of now I like it. :)

today (Jul 09) I just did my first SMT (not overly impressed; the ends feel a bit dry), air dried, and combed:

You have made awesome progress this last year, congratulations! I see a lot of new growth, your hemline looks thicker and much more even (though I think your hair looked nice and healthy before too) and oh my gosh what I wouldn't do for that color! Your avatar pic is so stunning, violet is a strikingly harmonious color on you. I am so happy for you and all of these positive results. Good job!:D
