Bored on a Sunday? Try new buns!

From pure boredom I am trying out updos at the moment. Err trying.. read: mucking about.

I did manage to create a pony tail bun just now. Start with the 10sec quick bun, and then pull the end through the loop, secure with a stick.

Be careful though.. I almost disjointed my left index finger with the pull through thingie :lol: Ok, my Sunday would definitely NOT have been boring anymore had THAT happened :lol:

I tried the ponytail bun not too long ago and I ended up with this really neat bun that wasn't what I had in mind.I still don't know how I got it....

I know the feeling! I try various things on such a day and then suddenly I have this perfect updo and I cannot for the life of me duplicate it!

I also tried to play with updos yesterday. Updos are my weak point so I leave my hair down most of the time. The only bun I can do (and hold for a while) is a cinnamon bun with 2 hair sticks holding it. So, I tried some of the buns in the articles section. The instructions were great. However, my un-coordinated fingers wouldn't make anything that would stay more than 2 minutes. Grrrr :mad: I got so frustrated. I can get the sytles made but they fall out. Oh well. :rolleyes: I'll keep trying.....
