View Full Version : One Year Anniversary!

Hello Everyone!

Although I am about a week early for my official anniversary I have decided to do this post now since I have a very rare break from work! This time last year is when I found LHC and replaced cones and straightening with oils and updos!

When I joined August 1, 2009 my hair was APL when straightened. This was the longest my hair had been to date and I was anxious to find new ways of taking care of it in order to get to BSL. Unfortunately I didn't take any real length pictures when I first joined.

This is my hair after 6 months at LHC. It is about 1 inch from top of BSL with a straight hemline. Between January and now I have trimmed about an inch in order to get rid of my damaged ends and create a nicer hemline.

Here is my hair today after a successful mini-frim using Feye's method for a slight U shape. It has been bun dried and combed. It is now bottom of BSL wavy, 3-4 inches to go until waist length! :cheese:

Congratulations on the one year mark!

Nice progress - looks like you're getting better at taking hair pictures, too, that last one is beautiful!

Thanks! The last one was taken on my balcony and I am sure the neighbors were all wondering why the heck I was standing with my hands on my hips like that... The outside world just doesn't understand. :D

You actually have that beautiful thick hair included with the thick hemline! Your hair reminds me of my hair because it's that thick, but I'm a 1b! Keep on growing 'peachgirl' and you'll feel what's it like having more longer hair, you'll be on your hair goal no matter what:cheese::cheer:

Thanks! I find as it gets longer the thickness is SO much easier to manage!

Gourgus hair! Love the color and texture! I want ends like yours some day but I'm growing out layers and have a very U shaped fairy tail hem line and i'd loose alot of length evening out everything....one day though!
