When I was about six years old I always dreamt of waking up with black, silky hair, just like yours! It never happened. ;)

Oh it can still happen for you jeno................with a big bowl of black permanent color and maintaining it with weekly conditioning treatments. :D

Haha, I don't think so! Wouldn't suit my complex you know. But I remember the feeling in my dream, this silky, black, floating hair... In my dreams.

Gorgeous! Is it naturally that straight? Like jeno, I dreamed of hair exactly like yours when I was younger - black, long and straight. It never happened to me either (but boy, did I try!) ;)

My hair used to look like that when it was that long (you wouldn't know it from looking at my album since the layers make it look wavy), and I went to bed wishing for honey-blonde, wavy hair every night.

Eric, thanks for reminding me again why I'm growing my hair out :) Yours is beautiful.

Thanks everyone for the compliments. Knowing that many of you actually wish you were born with my type of hair now makes me more determined to keep my hair natural and uncolored.
And swann yes, my hair is naturally very straight, but I did run a flat iron over in the two photos I just took for that extra perfect str8 line and that supershine.

very nice, have you trimmed recently? It looks really defined and thicker at the ends

Pdy2kn6, yes I have had two trims since June 26th of 2008. One was in December just before Christmas, I had just under an inch taken off to gently thicken up my ends. In Feb 02 of this year, I had a dusting all around (my stylist Mark was very diligent, he kept as much of my length as possible and he was still able to create a nice, one-length line). I estimate that in 13 months I grew about 7 inches of hair.
