Finally managed to get a decent pic for a new avatar. I luv this braid, only wish I could manage it on my own, a dear friend who has talented and tireless fingers managed it for me. :cheese:

I love herringbones! And you don't see them that often.

If you keep practicing, I bet you can do it yourself. It's actually easier than French braiding because there are only two sections to keep up with...you just have to figure out how to hold it.

Thanks for all the positive comments. I luv the support you always get from LHC people. :D I am approximately 90% gray now, most people who do not know me think I have very heavy highlights - they want to know who my hairdresser is.

I am very inspired by the many, many heads of long beautiful hair that I see posted, but I seldom have time on my hands to comment. But, I am watching and I am learning. ;) Thanks.
