I'm not good with the camera, I hate having my pictures taken, but I regret now that I didn't take more photos of my progress.
I always took relatively good care of my hair, no heat styling, only styling mousse against the flat head, but this is how my hair looked in 2006, before I started dyeing. (Sorry, pic doesn't work, will try again later...)

Then came Garnier along, and my hair deteriorated. I didn't know why back then. I started changing my hair habits after I joined TLHC and the German LHN in June 2007 but didn't take any pictures until November. I went from chemical dye to herbal dye, one of the greatest changes for me. But the damage was visible and is still visible in my ends...

And this is yesterday. My hair is still a bit wet and un-combed.

There are pictures where it looks better but I decided to catch up with my two year celebration NOW and not wait for the perfect picture...
My hair has grown, and I have changed my routine. I oil, massage, use shea butter, dilute my extremely gentle shampoo, use a sleep cap, make deep treatments and deep oilings regularly, I wear my hair up most of the time and trim ca. every nine months.

My hair has become thicker and much healthier. Thanks to both boards. I learned so much and I respect and appreciate the members of this board so much. I enjoy the international character and the US American character of the site at the same time.
:cheese:
