I gave this item the face instead of the thumbs up or down because it's both a good and bad product.

The Good:
This product does make your hair shimmer and shine more so than your hair might naturally.

The Bad:
The primary ingredient in this is Alcohol Denat (and a VERY alcohol-ly smell). This can dry out your hair, and I think is a primary reason I hated the ends of my hair. When I tried this product my hair was soooooo shiny but my ends dried out and tangles easier. When I left the product out of my hair, my hair still shined (all pictures, except two, that I have posted about my hair were free of this product) and my ends were better behaved.

In my opinion, if you like the shine it gives you, use it. However, make sure you are giving your hair moisture in other forms to combat the use of this product and use it sparingly.

Complete Ingredient List:
Alcohol Denat, Cyclopentasiloxane, Isopropyl Myristate, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Parfum Fragrance, Linalool, Limonene, Amyl Cinnamal, Citral, PEG-192 Apricot Kernel Glycerides, Propylene Glycol, Aqua Water, Citrus Limonum Lemon Extract

I actually have a bottle of this, but have not used it. Thanks for the review! I might just give it away now, as much curls need as much moisture as the can get.

I used to use it. The stuff is evil. xD; If you were using that, I have no doubt you had trouble with your ends. It's basically hairspray.

Oh, cones, shiny, shiny cones. If you like the blinding cone shine without the alcohol, I used to use this (http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp?pid=76655&catid=3562&aid=337953&aparam=citre_shine_mist_anti_f&CAWELAID=61275748) alcohol-free coney miracle for special occasions. SHINY! It did all the things that cones do to my hair (made it less wavy, made it get dirty faster), but it wasn't drying.

YES. I used to use this all the time, till I found this site and realized it's making you dependent on it, since it dries the hair out SO MUCH! I used to notice it in the middle of the day and give another spritz here and there for more shine! But when I woke up next day, dull drab, frizz fest! I pawned it off on a friend :P
