Where does it fall for you?

Ok since ive just reached waist and been reading (and understanding) more of people measurments i am feeling a bit odd. I dont feel like i have a particularly long torso but my measurments to get to waist seem longer than other peoples :rolleyes:. So i was wondering what everyones else measure marks were? I will have to get a longer tape to see what hip or tailbone would be but im a currous soul :p. Anyone mind sharing?

Ok im feelingless strange now 32 is with the longest bit of my U grazing waist when dry and solidly at it when wet. Im only an inch taller then you so i think that helps. It seems most people are hitting waist at 29 - 30 dry and im grazing at 32. Kind of anoying considering how long ive been at this. Thsi is the first time ive ever been at waist so im verry happy :D

I'm 5' 11" and waist hits me at 34 inches. Measured from front hair line back.

Just curious, what is your measurement? I bet it is pretty much the norm.

My hair at waist is 30", I'm about 5' 7.5". I think my waist from my shoulders down is roughly 'normal' length - but I have a super short rise for some reason. Pants never fit me right. I found pattern instructions online to make bloomers I think it was, so I used those instructions for measuring and made myself a pair of shorts and a pair of pants. OMG I never knew how nice it was to not have a huge amount of material bunching around my waist while wearing pants until I put those on!

Yeah, haha, I'm really lucky that tunic-type shirts and such are so popular now. I always got annoyed when a normal t-shirt became a belly shirt on me, and people always THINK I'm 5'7"-5'8" if I'm not directly standing next to people. It's amusing.
And haha, no, it's awkward! I still buy kid jeans sometimes simple because they fit better lengthwise, but then I feel really goofy. But thanks! You sound like a nice, well balanced/proportional sort of height and body build too. Hahah.

Aww thank you <3. Im on the small side but myheight keeps me out fo the kids sections i can hardly get womens long jeans to fit me. I tell people im a monkey everage body with irrationally long arms and legs :rolleyes:. Im ok with it most of the time though. Untill i have to start making my own PJ's! Your hair is so beautiful and shiny in the picture i wish mine looked that good :D!

Waist on me is about 30-31 inches. Tailbone is 35-36", and classic is 41-42".

I'm 5'2". Apparently I have a pretty average length torso, and really short legs, which would be why I've never in my life found a pair of pants that fit me without taking a foot off the bottom. I always end up looking like I'm wearing demin flippers in the store.:D

I'm just grazing waist at 27.5". I'm 5'1 and pretty short-waisted, though, so mine is a lot shorter than most people's. Which is fun when I leave it down, because it looks longer than it is, but I have to look for BSL updos because my hair isn't long enough for the waist-length ones!

APL 22", BSL 25", waist 29", hip 32" -but I count hip differently than many people here, not by illiac crests but by the top of my pelvis.

I am 5'5". I have a short waist and ribcage, but looong hips, so I don't really appear to have a short torso overall. It's rarely as simple as having a short torso or a long one.

For me, it depends on my posture: I'm 5'2", and with typical bad posture (slumped, chin stuck out) waist is at 26.5 inches. With proper "ballet" posture (neck lengthened, chin kept in), waist is at 29.5 inches.
