"Try Every Hairdo You Know" challenge

Hi all,

I started a little mini challenge for myself so I would be forced to try new things and wear some of my rarely-used hairstyles more often. I have been using a different style on each workday. I'll continue until I run out of things I can do well enough to leave the house with! Does anyone want to join me?

I count variations on a single style as different styles (ex., sock bun with rope braid and english braid finish would be two different things).

Here's what I've done so far:

1. Chinese bun
2. English braid folded up
3. Rope braid
4. Rose bun
5. Cinnabun
6. Sock bun with English braid finish
7. Bee butt bun
8. Infinity bun
9. Half-up
10. Ponytail
11. Puffy bun
12. Figure 8
13. Hellboy bun
14. Sushi Roll (mine looked a bit like a sushi blob :()

Hooray for lots of variation! I hate resorting to the old cinna-bun every day. :p

I just did something like this in the Wear Hair Up Challenge. I made it so I could not wear a given style more than once a week, and in four days I'll be done four weeks. Then I'm going to take my favourite styles and wear them regularly to try and integrate them into my repertoire.

Urgh. I only know a couple....

1. English braid
2. French braid
3. Not-sure-if-this-is-actually-a-bun bun
4. Ponytail

and that's it :blush:

I've gotten so used to short hair I don't know what buns I can even do at APL.

Okay, I have to ask. What is a hellboy bun? I can't seem to find directions for it, and curiosity is consuming me! :confused::D

I'm also curious about the Hellboy bun...

I still only have a very small repertoire, and I'm not very good at most of it! French braids are becoming almost presentable though, and I think I've almost got "The bun that stays" and the chinese bun figured out... at lest 40% of the time!

Yep that's right, it looks a lot like a peacock twist on me but it's easier for me to do and stays in better. And today I've got the "Reverse Hellboy," with the loop facing up instead of down. :D
