View Full Version : New hairstyle: Jeno's topsy bun (APL)

1. Make a topsy tail. Don't make it too tight.

2. Take the tail and twist it once:

3.Put the end of the tail in to the topsy:

4. Spread it out a little bit:

5. Put a comb in it to secure it:

That looks really nice! If you want, you can use up a bit more length by making the ponytail looser and using the topsy tail twice. Might be an option for anyone with hair longer than APL.

Isn't this one in the topsy handbook? Either way it is a cute style and it really suits your hair.

This is really nice. I wonder if one could do it with a stick or pins rather than a comb (I haven't got any combs. I really ought to have got some yesterday when I was at Shoppers', as they're having a sale on hair toys ><).

Jeno, this style is so beautiful!! Thanks for sharing. I've been getting APL boredom, so this is perfect timing. And plus it gives me an excuse to go out and buy a pretty comb, since I don't have one. :D

I do this one too! Granted, I don't have a topsy and just pull it through with my fingers, but the results are the same. You will be happy to know that those of us with longer hair can do it as well...we just have to pull it through a few times:
