You'll have to pardon the small picture, the unflattering work shirt, and yes... that is a knitting needle.

I'll definitely be using this updo again. It was very secure, comfortable and pretty.

Thank you! Thank you!

I wish I had a better picture, but it seems my phone camera was the only thing available.

oooh, preettyy! and I never would have been able to tell that it was a knitting needle, don't worry. it just looks like a really long wooden hairstick.

Bwahahah. Fabulous. I shall fool all!

I guess it's more inconspicuous than the two fuschia metal needles I used once.

yeah, I can imagine it would be.
probably way more inconspicuous than the picture I think I have floating around somewhere, with a mechanical pencil holding up a figure-8.

Great job, and very versatile style to add to your collection.

Kiraela, I call that resourceful!

angelthadiva, Thank you so much. I'm very pleased I gave it a shot.

That's really nice! I would've thought that it was a chopstick if you hadn't been kind enough to let me know the truth. It looks good though! :-)

good job, I'm so jealous of you who can do this, my hair is not long enough yet. yours looks great and such a big bun too!

April 12th, 2008, 06:37 PM
Super job!! I've only recently mastered it.

April 12th, 2008, 06:44 PM
Congratulations, it looks beautiful.

Thank you so much, y'all! A well needed perk up has been given.

It's going to be fun to keep growing... the bun is just going to get bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger.

Then it will need it's own social security number, I'm sure.
