Ficcare = oiling?

Hey guys, I just received my very first 'blue jeans' ficcare in the post, and I'm in love. Expensive things, but well worth it. :cheese:

A question - Is it safe to apply oil to my hair, and then put it up with the ficcare? Does it cause damage to the clip, or is it resistant??

do any of you do this?

I haven't had any trouble with mine chipping the enamel or anything but I don't usually clip my hair when I heavy oil but I have worn it a LOT with straight out of the shower hair and also have had no trouble. :flower: I oil my hair daily so.. HTH

just to be safe I don't use my fic's on (heavy) oiled hair or on damp hair, I would hate it if my expensive toys would get damage from it

I've never had any trouble using Ficcares on oiled hair. I just give the clip a wipe clean with some kitchen roll to get rid of the excess oil before I put it back in the box.
