Hi everyone :waving:

I came across this cool video :D

The guy has amazing salt and pepper hair it's beautiful!

He shows how to do a quick hair bun using a hair bow thing, I'm not sure what it is called? I would love one of these! :inlove: I think it would be suitable for all hair lengths:cheese:!

Does anyone know where I could buy one or what it is called? :D

Here's the video enjoy! :D

I don't know how the thingy is officially called but it's usually available in regular shops over here.
Maybe hairagami has something similar (http://www.hairagami.com/ht_hairagami.html). Or something like this (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Brand-New-Black-Women-Hair-Roll-Twister-Bun-Holder-Knot_W0QQitemZ250439429762QQcmdZViewItemQQimsxZ200 90608?IMSfp=TL090608207003r14387) works the same way.

You have to slide the thing down so it's difficult to use it on longer hair, especially when you're doing it on yourself. On shorter hair it just takes some practice, as with everything :)

I am SOOOOOO gonna make some of these up. Looks very simple to make with some wire and fabric.

I have one of those plastic hair twisters and I couldn't figure out how to use it...

Here is a similar pattern someone posted on another thread. You would just need to add the hole :cheese:

My mother and I used to have a stock pile of these that we made when I was a kid.
We actually had done a version, where you basically make a long rectangle, stick the wire inside, sew it up, and then instead of slipping your hair in the hole like this one does, you would just fold the rectangle in half twist the ends and then do the rolling.
worked fine for us!

I have something similar but plastic. I couldn't get it to work in my hair at all, but I could have been doing it wrong/the plastic ones don't work as well. That one looks cooler anyway. :)

Order similar ones here http://www.qwikbuns.com/ (http://www.qwikbuns.com/)
I have some but have not tried them yet. I'm not sure how they will work with my length though.
