I know sock buns aren't the most amazing things, but I'm updo challenged. I'm pretty proud of this feat!:cheese:

Nice! I love my sock bun. My hair isn't long enough for a lot of updos so this one is great for me. I'm actually wearing one right now!

That looks really nice! I'm updo challenged too, I still can't do sock bun that a) stays in my head so it doesn't look like dropping off my head b) looks good, so you can't see the sock and the hairs are evenly over it. Sadly that style is something I really want to wear someday. Have to keep practising! XD

Beautiful!!! I love the braided part. I did the sock bun when my hair was long. Can't wait to do it again!!! :)

Looks great!!! And I have a hard time sometimes getting the whole sock covered! Ive employed DH at times to help me cover and get that first rubber band over the hair! but they are comfy and pretty!!! Congrats!

Very pretty. You did a super job. ;) I've just managed the sock-bun myself - it's such a neat trick to make my daughters and I look like we have way more hair than we actually have, hehe :D

Great job!

I'm a huge fan of the sock bun, but then again, my taste in hairstyles tends toward the Edwardian/Victorian: Enormous piles of hair in loose waves and ringlet curls. The only way to get that look (even with thick classic length hair) is to use props.

Like socks. :grin:

Now, I will have to learn this! Hopefully, my hair is long enough. My hair toy box (aka as the arsenal) is now going to contain a sock or two! The sticks were just not enough. I already get weird looks from my DB about the oils and whatnot, can't wait to hear this one. LOL :grnbiggri
