View Full Version : 1 year LHC anniversary

On June 14, I had my one year anniversary at LHC! Yay! It's really been great to find a group of people who are so supportive. I've learned so much from hanging out on the forums, reading articles and all the great discussions.

I'd like to include a couple progress photos--the first one I took a year ago, and the most recent, which I took today.

I swear that's not damage in the second pic! I just have some really weird taper due to how my layers are growing in. Believe me, I've inspected my ends and they are healthy. I plan to even those up eventually but right now I just don't want to sacrifice length.

Does this look like BSL to you? Also, am I getting fairytale ends? I think so on both counts, but I could be kidding myself. . .

I'm not thrilled with the appearance of my layers, but overall my hair is healthier than it has ever been. Thanks LHC!

Well, some would consider your hair BSL, since it does brush the strap, so yes.

Your hair is beautiful! Your ends could look more fairytale-ish because of your layers, but I could be wrong. Love your waves! :)

Happy anniversary. Your hair is either BSL, or pretty darn close. And perhaps the beginnings of fairytale ends. Either way, you have some really pretty waves going on there. Congrats. :)

This makes me feel a little better--not the back of my head, but the overall appearance of my hair looks better when not viewed head on from the back. Maybe that's the nature of layers--GAK. Eh, I'm pretty pleased with my progress, though I'm champing at the bit to be able to even my layers up a bit. Someday. . .
