My partner cut off a centimeter yesterday and I asked him to take a picture, it's looks much better lately (got to henna the roots!):

the fairytail ends are now some sort of 'blunt fairytail ends'. And my hair is waist now. This picture was from October:

It's harder to see from this angle, but the ends were just whips of fluff (only a few hairs reached waist)

Awwww thanks :). The color is henna with cassia and sometimes just a gloss. I'm soon going to do another henna application because the color is somewhat faded. I'm happy how my hair is growing back!

Your hair is looking fantastic--I love the waves! And the ginger color is gorgeous. I used full strength henna (no cassia) from the start (now roots only) and kind of missed the boat on such a lovely auburn tone. With the henna glow in the sun, I would call yours a magical auburn.

Lovely! It looks like the fairytale-ness is thickening up for you. You have a good "hairdresser", too! YOu ought to rent him out for the longhairs here -- clearly he understands what ONE CENTIMETER means and doesn't trim off too much!

I should rent my guy out and charge rediculous amounts of money LOL. He's really careful, he actually didn't want to do it, thinking he would mess up. He keeps insisting I should go to a hairdresser. Why would I want that for if he can do it?

Your hair in the October picture looks like it's doing what mine does sometimes - that wispy candyfloss thing. Are you sure you are not an f texture?

No, my hair isn't that fine, the whispy bits were left over hairs from when my hair fell out last year.
