I take 1600 mg. It is in Flex-a-min that I take for joint pain. It's just a bonus that it helps my hair grow. :)

I don't take it for hair growth but for my joints. 1000mg a day.

I just started taking 1000 MG a day for my hair.

But I do have a tiny bit of joint pain in my fingers. In what way might the MSM help? What does it target specifically, do you find?

I take 1000mg a day, but I think I'm going to up it to 2000mg, because I'm not seeing very much change.

I hope that I'm not too off topic with this but where can you get msm without added fillers at a reasonable price?
Thank you.
I usually take 1,000 mg.

I found MSM and chondroitin on sale at Kmart--2fer. Not bad.

I only take 1 pill a day (the bottle says I should take 3) right now. I don't know about the hair yet, but my hip hurts less. I'm thinking that if it's enough to help the hip, it's probably doing something to help the hair.

I get mine through swansons vitamins (its an online store) its a powder but im sure they have pills too. Its just straight MSM you mix into a juice or something no fillers or common allergens. My powder had 2.6g per 1/2 teaspoon but i am admitedly bad about taking it. Its a bit bitter and for some reason itmakes my nose run like mad for a few mnutes after i take it. Havent taken it in a while but i need to get back int he habit. Especially since im in a shed

It strengthens the connective tissue. For me the problem is hypermobile joints so, things move too much and rub the wrong way. Pain from that goes away with MSM.

Thank you Mira-Chan. . .that's what I am finding on Google too. I am hoping the MSM might help hubby with his little issues, as well.
