My maxi goal is healthy knee length hair which holds its natural waves even after I've slept on it. :o As for everything else, I've quit all my bad hair habits since joining LHC but would like to eat more organic food for my hair and body.:)

Remember to post links to threads I start that has links! (blush).

Be obsessed about hair length, only on LHC! (I've been good with that one so far).

Goal 1 - to get to the terminal length
Goal 2 - to find someone that would share the same love for long hair
Goal 3 - to resist the ideas of changing my mind of growing to the floor or whatever is the terminal length
Goal 4 - to give it some artistic / philosophical meaning to all that hair

Main goal:
Tailbone length virgin, one length hair.

Mini goals:
Grow to waist with no trims, or as few as possible.
Maintain at waist until I have gotten rid of most layers and most dye/highlights.
Grow to tailbone.
Maintain at tailbone.

Main Goal - Hip or Tailbone length hair with fewer layers, all previously chemical dyed hair cut off. This will take awhile, given I have BSL length hair right now, with about 2 inches of henna (vs chemical) dyed roots. So.....approximately 36 inches of growth. Maybe by the time I'm 35.

I need to think of some mini goals.

Main hair goal: somewhere between waist and tailbone. Waist is my first and main goal.

Mini goals: no cutting until December (that'll be one year with no cuts) & more deep treatments.

Main Goal
Classic length, natural-colored hair with fairy tale ends

Mini Goals
No trimming, for like, FOREVER! :)
Avoiding (like the plague) the following items: Chemical hair dyes, henna hair dyes, curling irons and blowfryers
Keep up with at least weekly deep-oiling treatments (I <3 unrefined coconut oil & Dabur Vatika coconut oil!)
Shampoo less & less progressively with length
Leave it alone!
It will be a big deal when I am finally able to use my blue jean max again... until then it is patiently waiting in my jewelery box. :o

I am happy because I don't have a long way to go to meet my next goal: reach classic length and hold steady to thicken up the ends.

But I think it's going to take a lot longer than I expect. I'll probably have to be nearly at finger-tip length to get it to LOOK like it's classic length when dry. I have a lot of wave/curl.

So in the meanwhile:

Continue finding the just right shampoo, conditioner, oiling combination for best results.

Continue treating my hair with extra care when combing, brushing, twisting into up dos.

Enjoy testing out new up dos and using my hair toys. I like to keep my hair up most of the time during the work week and down on weekends.

Continue with my new vitamin regieme.

I'd like to hold out into Sept 1st to do a tiny dusting trim, or if I possibly can, wait until Dec 1st that would be even better.

Main Goal: I'm around waist most of the time, since my curls keep messing with my length, so I want to reach solid waist and eventually longer.
Mini Goals: Learn more hairstyles, and buy more hairtoys. Put it up more.

Be able to do an english/french/dutch/herringbone/box braid. (probably will come at different times)
A pony tail that holds all my hair, all day
Learn how to do some of those updos I keep seeing

I am doing hair up for a month(to start) with the hopes of extra growth, stop playing with and obcessing over, and learn new updos. I am long term looking to go terminal, but after medical hairloss I really want healthy classic length hair and I hope to cut layers out and go back to one length eventually!...I did not even realize I had so many goals till I sat to write them down...Thanks!

I'm to-ing and fro-ing a small bit, but here's the current plan:

Main Goal: BSL (24 -25")

Mini Goals:
1. Get some kind of light sideswept fringe and figure out how to make it stay side-swept and not in my face all the time.
2. Stop spending ridiculous amounts of money on my hair. Resist!
3. Find a really nicely scented mist spray for my hair. Haven't found the perfect one yet (trying V05 Miracle Mist at the moment).
4. Figure out how to bring out as much shine as possible.
5. Learn how to use my Ficarre!
6. Learn how to do something other than a plait, cinnabun or French Twist :o

I was at full BSL until I decided to get a "trim" in May. She did give me a trim (if you call almost 2" a trim), but she also gave me tons of choppy layers in the back that made my head look like a Christmas tree when I air dried. So I went to someone else and they had to cut off over 4" of length to be able to get the awful layers to blend in. I'm back at square one! I'm at APL right now and my goal of waist will take roughly 2 years, depending on if I keep growing at crazy rates or not.

Main Goal: HEALTHY waist length hair

Mini Goals:
No trims until May 2010
Keep it up 5+ days per week
Stop messing with it
Keep washing without cones or sulfates
Continue drinking tons of water and eating healthfully
BSL!

Main Goal: Grow to hip or tailbone (still deciding)

Mini Goals:
S&D to remove individual splits
Dust ends to slowly remove damaged ends
Stop using any hair ties, use only ficcares, forks and sticks
Continue using 'poo bars, Aubrey Organics conditioner, and jojoba oil
Enjoy the ride!:)

Main: To have healthy hair between BSL and waist.

Mini:

1. Don't cut hair for the rest of the year.

2. If at BSL after the new year (should be), then begin micro-trimming to thicken up the ends

3. If not at BSL after the new year, then continue with no cut rule until I'm at BSL

4. Keep wearing hair up most of the time to minimize damage

5. Continuing taking vitamins regularly

6. Do not purchase anymore products for the rest of the year

7. Thin out the product collection to only a few good quality mostly natural products that work for me and stick with them.

Main Goal
To improve the overall health of my hair, then keep growing it until I reach my goal length.

Mini Goals
Choose a goal length.
Learn a new hairstyle each week, so that I don't have to wear my hair the same way every day.
Learn to accept my true hair color (and all the grays) so I don't feel like I have to dye my hair for it to look good- since the dye actually makes my hair look worse. In other words, no hair dying!!
Do regular heavy oilings before washing my hair.

That's all I can think of now, my list is a work in progress (just like my hair).

Mail goal at the moment: Healthy classic lenght hair. I do want to grow my hair to it's terminal lenght (which of course might be shorter than classic, I'll find out in the next couple of years :p ) but I'm thinking classic is where I'll finally consider it very long and be happy with it while still being able to maintain it.

Mini goals:
1) Learn & start to do dusting.
2) Brush gently, don't detangle forcibly.
3) Spend time on updos - wearing the same bun for days on end is boring!
