Summer hair

A few weeks ago I started a summer job that requires being outside in the sun a lot. So I got a UV Buff to cover my hair (in an updo) and keep it out of the sun and I decided to slather my hair full of coconut oil. I am also experimenting with water only at least for a little while.

All that got me thinking, what do you do differently in your routine in the summer? How is your hair different in the summer?

Well, my hair gets dryer in the sun and it gets lighter:)

i put olive oil in my hair and leave it in over night once every summer month. I used to highlight my hair with lemon juice and peroxide but i don't think i'll do that this year.
