There's a very interesting show about Orcas right now (Sun, 4pm PT) on PBS (US, southern Canada...not sure where else it might be carried). In the Vancouver BC area we get both KCTS from Seattle, and WTVS Detroit Public Television. Usually these shows repeat a few times on one station, and also show up around the same time on other PBS stations.

The show is Jean-Michel Cousteau: Ocean Adventures, "Call of the Killer Whale" (http://www.pbs.org/kqed/oceanadventures/) (I think it's in 2 parts...this is part 1).

In a few spots during the show they talk to Alexandra Morton, a local marine biologist who I mentioned in another thread (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=20148&highlight=alexandra+morton). She shares a wonderful, personal "porpoises helping humans" story at the beginning.

I love that women and I love her hair! :D And she's not the only long-hair on the show :D

If you go to the PBS site and sort your way through the Schedules, you might find if/where the show is playing in your area. For what it's worth, I'm having trouble connecting to their Schedules link, so you could also check your local tv listing, if interested.

Heh. I read the title and thought you were talking about our own LilOrca when I first read the title. That biologist does indeed have lovely hair!!
