I would like to learn how to use hair sticks like a pro and how to do all these fancy buns i see you ladies doing:D.


I was gonna stop growing my hair at Full Waist...but i might go on to Hip after seeing all this long hair!!:eyebrows:

The key to using hairsticks is getting the right angle. You have to slide them under a little bit of your hair that's bunned, turn them towards the front of your head and get a little scalp hair, and then turn them back into the meat of the bun. Oh, thanks for this thread!
I have never been able to master it so that they (the sticks) stay put. They hold for a little while but don't last. I always just figured it was because my hair wasn't long enough as opposed to technique.
Torrin Paige your youtube tutorial makes it looks sooo easy! Thanks for the awesome tips.
Until I found this forum I had never realised you had to sort of invert the sticks/combs when applying!
