My hair is usually a light brown and wavy with a little bit of curl at my temples, but when summer hits, my hair turns lighter/redder and gets pretty curly! For comparison, here's my hair normally (http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3359/3608919763_b0f28aebca_o.jpg) about two falls ago (with my future DH! :D), and here it was last summer (http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2449/3609734868_73cfec8476_o.jpg).

I'm just wondering if there's anyone else's hair that changes depending on the season? Does anyone know why it happens? I'm inclined to think it has something to do with the weather/sun/etc., but I work indoors at an office all day, so I don't know!

The sun definitely makes my hair lighter in the summer, though the wave (or lack thereof) stays more or less the same year-round. Perhaps where you live it's more humid in the summer, and so it becomes curlier?

this is the first summer i wil not be blonde, so when the urge hits STOP ME!!!!! by any means possible, I MEAN IT!!!
I usually stay darker or red in the winter and bleach blonde in the summer last year I bleached it for the last time in April (2008..) so it stayed fairly blonde (enough) throughout the summer and was darker (and red) how i liked it through the winter...but now its summer time again and i keep wondering...then telling myself no!!!
