I will try the squint technique next time I have a minute in the mirror. Yesterday when I got out of the shower I was drying my face and noticed my hair in the mirror. I had my chin toward the ceiling and it made my hair longer, plus the wetness stretches the curls. I was pretty happy about the thought of getting to that length that I saw. Long hair is awesome!!! I am so grateful for this site! :)

The ends were very crunchy last night, and no amount of coconut oil, or camellia oil would soften them, and I knew I was going to start wearing my hair wavy, so it would pull up shorter anyway, so I thought I may as well do it now!

In the future, try to clarify your hair before you cut. You can get crunchies from the oil, and that can even build up. Same with your COing. Crunchiness is usually a sign that you need to clarify :)

Also, though you have better experience with it, MC builds up on me like CRAZY, so it needs a clarify at least weekly.

Last time I used it, I used it for a week. By the second day, I had buildup. D:

Actually, it's worse than that!!! A few posts ago, I mention that I did a self-trim, AND I decided to let my curls control for awhile! Definite shrinkage happening now! At this rate, sniff, it will be another month at least!!!!
