ok, so I decided to give plopping a try to see if it would bring out my waves. I think I am hooked! Look at these gorgeous waves!!!

Ohhh very nice! I want to try that as well :). My hair wont hold curl for nothing but a braid left in damp over night will stay almost all day. I wonder how plopping will do. Congrats!

Nice result! I'm glad that worked for you. Plopping hasn't worked for me since about hip length.

Glad you like plopping!

It doesn't work for me. My hair is very curly, and I would have thought plopping would be great, but it makes my hair look worse. I get weird bent angles that won't curl properly.
I think my hair is too fine to make plopping successful..

Your waves look great!!! I wanted to love plopping, but it broke up my curls too much for some reason. I loved that it helped reduce air-drying time. I've been more of a "one scrunch and done" girl since realizing this worked better for me.

I tried plopping but found that I move around too much in my sleep, halfway through the night my hair was free!

How do you ploppers manage to keep the t-shirt on your head?

Pretty!!! i'm so excited to try this tonight! Since I stopped using cones my hair has gotten some of it's wave and thickness back to it; I'm going to try this plopping for the first time. I think it'll work well!

What products should you use in your hair before plopping though?

Well, I WAS using Aussie's Catch the Wave mousse, but I've just begun no-cones again too. I'm planning on trying it just using Kimberliliy's defrizzing spray.

I don't usually do an overnight plop. I will plop 5-10 minutes on days that I shampoo my hair.

I tried an overnight plop once and it was not very nice. I just plop in the morning after I wash my hair.
