Just decided to move on from lurking and introduce myself. I’ve gone back and forth since high school with growing then cutting, growing then cutting. I’ve finally resolved that my time is valuable and my hair much easier to take care of when it’s longer (so many more options). I’ve learned a great deal just reading over the many informative topics and questions presented here.
More recently (since January) I started growing out my bangs/fringe. It’s been tedious, but I’m going to persevere this time! I told my 20-year old daughter that I wouldn’t cut the bangs as long as she stays in the Nursing Program that she started in January!
My main pet peeve is that I’ve been growing out coloring since January of last year. I can tell that there’s a difference, but my family says it doesn’t look “bad” or anything. I can’t wait to get long enough to cut it all out – that won’t happen for awhile though.
