I helped my husband cut grass today and a simple twist w/ a clawclip did it for me. I just wonder how I'll wear it when it's longer and I help him.

Absolutely ! Under a baseball cap:D Don't you just love the smell of freshly mown grass BTW. ( It's very sweet of you to help your DH.) :p

I traded chores with my son. He gets to do the dishes and fold the laundry. Yeah! Now what do I put on my sunburned back?

Under a bandana/kerchief

Does wonders to catch the sweat.

Mine gets put up into a simple bun with my hair sticks, and a cap goes over with the straps on the back of the hat going underneath the bun. I have to use the very last hole to get the strap under the bun, and it might look funny but it works! Very solid.

I usually do a loose braid or nape ponytail, so that I can wear a hat. I can't do the bandana thing because I sunburn easily (even with 70spf sunblock) and I don't want a bandana-line on my forehead... although I suppose I could put one on UNDER the hat.

I loooove yardwork! I would so much rather mow, edge, and tend plants than do indoor chores!

I used to ponytail it using the back of a baseball cap as a holder. This, of course, was back in the day that I didn't care about it.

Today, if I was stuck with a yard, I'd bun it under a scarf as in this tutorial: http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/vbjournal.php?do=article&articleid=126
