I'm getting my hair dyed brown tomorrow but the purple in my hair just won't seem to go! I've been washing it everyday with clarifying shampoo to try and get it out but its still quite vibrant in places. Does anyone know a way to remove stargazer hair dye quickly? Its only meant to last for about nine washes  My Auntie suggested using washing up liquid but i dont want to completely kill my hair... Any suggestions?

Try an alkaline shampoo like baby shampoo :)

Wet your hair, work it in, let it sit for half an hour or so (toss on a shower cap so it doesn't dry out) and rinse with hot water. You could also try this with a blend of 1 part baby shampoo and 1 part honey.

You could also try dandruff shampoo :)

Thanks for the advice! I think i'll try the baby shampoo and honey which hopefully will do the trick. If not i'll just have to use the washing up liquid and use lots of deep conditioner.
