I have a remarkably good $10 bob wig that I trimmed to come out a lot like this (http://ep.yimg.com/ip/I/yhst-43237354811846_2051_37573418) (though the fringe is heavier and longer) which I'd like to wear more often...

I'd also buy a bleach-blonde 1b wig and dye it w/Special Effects. Atomic Pink is my favorite solid color, but I'd want to figure out how to do two-tone or three-tone hair at least!

I played a joke on a Hair Bully who constantly suggested I should cut my hair and it would be too "thin"anyway..

The last 3 pictures were sent to the bully to show I still have my ugly thin hair. She thought she bullie me into cutting it and was less happy to see I still have it.:p

The cut braid was wig hair, she did not notice the color difference..

I never really had a proper bob or other shorter cuts. Just blunt at shoulders and beyond, and a pixie pixie, and awkward pixie grow out that wasn't cut into any specific cut.

I'd actually kinda like to have a shorter wig, kinda, but no idea what would look okay. :oops:

Oh yeah, that's right: a wig could mean braided hair without the pain! Or DREADS without the comb-out! :hmm:

ETA: Emichiee, those had me FOOLED, even in a thread about wigs! It really looked like your hair on the floor! :shocked: The color difference didn't really faze me because hair colour always changes in different pictures; might have been the light or something.

haha that's funny. I just bought a wig off eBay. I was gonna get a short one but i didn't think they would go with my face. So instead i went for long hair. Their was a more expensive one that was about thigh length and brown and really thick. And a cheaper one that was about knee length and black with fairytale ends. I got the knee length one. I don't know if i would wear it out in public. I just want to put it on and see what its like. Since that may be my final goal length ^-^
You can wash them gently too. But i would probably avoid it. I just want to see what its like combing it and the feel of it. Too bad the shipping takes a couple weeks! Arg! I'm really excited to try it out though. I mean..i went in for a short died wig...and ended up buying a really long one. Ah well I can't wait until it gets here!! :D ETA: i hope it doesn't have that overly fake wig-ness thing going on though. -.-

I got a wig once a couple years ago when I wanted a change and I didnt want to cut my hair. Everyone thought I cut my hair. I wore the wig for about 3 months (during the fall/winter seasons). I have some pictures in my photo album. It was only $40 and looked so realistic. I really liked it, but my mom has it now. :)

My favorite wig in my life so far. I loved the Afro style so much that I'd roll my own shag cut on about 30 small sponge rollers and wear the wig over the rollers until my own hair dried, which I would then pick out into - you guessed it - an Afro! My black friends called it a "natural," which tickled the chip out of me because it was anything but natural on my head.

In some places the :rockerdud gesture is a gang symbol and/or lewd. We've allowed it when it's clear that the meaning is positive, but next to the middle finger picture, we assumed you intended a more negative meaning.

Thanks for explaining, it was actually just mean the same way the rockerdude is meant...those were my after pictures I posted when I revealed it was just a wig..
So would it be ok to repost these without the middlefinger pic?

Depends how much hair you're shoving under the cap. I've worn mine on a very hot day with no problems whatsoever. Kept it on all day in fact and was peachy. :)

I have a bob wig that I really like. I'd like to get more. I do get hot in my, definitely can't dance or anything, but they're so fun and it's nice to switch things up. Unfortunately, the only picture I have was taken with a camera phone in a dark bar so it's not super clear.

That would be a thought I guess..it's just I feel uncomfortable...many people have been approaching me via PM asking what was so offensive about my pictures..:(

Isn't it a little hypocritical to allow a smilie to throw the horns, but not allow pictures of us doing it?

Go for it! I can wear mine in glorious sunshine and it's no hotter than if I was just wearing my bun, to be honest. I hate having long hair in hot weather, ugh!
