Unless I am wrong, Titanic era would have been Edwardian and not Victorian.

I'm still looking for a how to but looking at Edwardian pics and such might help you even if it is not exactly what you are looking for.

Yeah, it's eleven or twelve years after Victoria died (was it 1900 or 1901?).

I'm not quite sure the style you're describing; it's been years since I watched Titanic. Could you get a pic/screencap?

YouTube StrawberryKoiVintage. She has some vintage updo tutorials and I think one of them is from Titanic.

This site In Timely Fashion (http://www.intimelyfashion.com/hair/gibson2.htm) has some Edwardian hair styles that are similar to Rose's hair.

She has plans to do the hair from Titanic, but as for how soon I am not sure. Good luck!

That's a lot of hair for this hair style, gorgeous though.

Oh, how pretty! :thud: Looks like this one would be a good one for curlies!

ETA: I found the Titanic hairdo tutorial by StrawberryKoiVintage! It's here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GXiHO4Vs_Sk&feature=channel_page). She does a really good job. :)

So I followed the youtube's example (sort of, I didn't curl all my hair and I was trying to figure out what she meant by "little buns" since I couldn't see what she was doing very well.) This is what I came up with. I don't think it quite worked. :silly:

From the 3/4 view with my necklace on.

From the back with some beads pinned in it.

I suppose if I had spent more time on it, it would have looked better.

That's so pretty!

I watched the tutorial the other day, and it made me want to go out and get some stringed beads to put in my hair. =)
