I used to dye my hair various crayola colors. I liked the bright orange, but I REALLY liked the dark "midnight blue" I used to buy. I used to fantasize about it just growing in that color (instead of rubbing off on my towel) and I wanted it at least waist length. I don't have any pictures, but think coffee and milk skin with midnight blue, waist/hip length, V cut hair. That's my dream. At the time when I wanted this I was pretty lean and muscular from training, so I already looked like an anime character. Granted, my hair was only APL/BSL at the time, but if I could get it to actually grow in that color, I would hate to cut it.:D

OMG!!! That's what I want!! Except dark...my color which is naturally dark brown and now with some henna red. I want it to look like that...my top has gotten a little straighter with the length...I could actually get a wide tooth comb through it dry with out disturbing it (which you all know for curls is quite a feat) so I can only hope that when I reach 33" or 34...wherever I need to be to be bellybutton while curly...it will look kinda like this. I've always wanted THICK THICK hair (since my hair has become really thin), and either really light (like silver-white, like Lady Amalthea's in The Last Unicorn) or really dark (like the beautiful Aisha's hair ;))...But my DREAM hair is probably Shakira's first, because no matter what she does with it I LOVE it! I change my mind every other day I think! I have to say that I've always loved anime hair though. Always super long and unrealistically well behaved. :D Funky colors too, dark blue or purple or white blond. Is it strange that I wish I'd go grey or white early? You get the idea. Dark blue and long and straight or maybe with a little body. Not dyed, but while we're talking about fantasies, I used to wish it would just grow in this way.

Otherwise, I sometimes with I had that gorgeous wild woman hair that is thick, dark, and half way between really straight and really curly. It looks unbelievably hot and doesn't have to be brushed or styled. I'm hoping my kids end up with this hair. That would be awesome.

I also love Nightshade's and Aisha25's hair! I love deep shades of red and black hair. They also have waves, which I always wanted! My dream hair can be a variety of colors, because I love them all when they are shiny, wavy, and on the thick side. Not to mention long, of course :) Since I am naturally blonde, I would probably stick with a nice, golden shade for my dream hair. I also really like the hair in this picture:

Same here! The most beautiful hair I've ever seen is right here on this site. I've never seen any nicer anywhere else. And to me, what makes it beautiful is that most of it is unprocessed, non-product-infested. I love the natural look.

Honestly, I think with your natural color you'd end up with something a really close to Emichee's and she does full-head applications. She also keeps rockin' detailed recored in her blog if you're interested :flowers:

Meanwhile I am feeling sad after learning what happened to her and that we cannot enjoy her beautiful long hair anymore.
I am just slightly past hip length now, but I have defenitely something to look forward to.
The hair on the right top pic seems a bit longer than my CL+ goal, but looks amazing and lovely.

You know where you should look? NaturallyCurly.com's "CurlPix"! If you haven't seen it yet, there's a search function on the left side that lets you limit the curl type, hair length, etc. of the people it searches for. I'm *sure* you'll find a few curlies to admire!

Waist length, big ringlets; TB pulled straight: dark brown that's almost black. Basically my hair but longer, darker and less messy-wavy, think perpetual bun curls.

The way I add pictures to the board:

I made a photobucket account and then uploaded the picture from my computer into this account.

Once I was done with that I hovered the mouse over the picture I wanted to show up in the thread (on the main page of my photobucket account)

when I did this several options came up, including one that says: "IMG code" .... I clicked on this option and because I use a Mac it copied automatically. If you use a PC you will have to right click and manually copy.

Then all I did was copy the image code into the text of the document.

I love the hair of an LHC member who goes by the name Cinnamonbun(?).

There are quite a few of you whose super long, gorgeous hair is to die for, but Cinnamonbun's(?) hair is closest to my hair's color.

OT: I've noticed quite a few cat lovers here. I feel at home in that I have 5 cats.

Aww:) I am exstatic, I get my Emma back in two weeks! (I also get a Voodou back, but that's a whole other(pointier) story). And that's Emma in my Avatar, when she was 3 weeks old. I'd already started bottle feeding her by then, and she was already sleeping in my bed with me. yeah, our bond goes deep. I have often said that anyone who hurts my cat will bleed for it. DBF is the same way, though. The girlfriend he had before he met me gave him an ultimatum. "Either the cat goes, or I do." his reply? "The cat was here first." Of course, he's well on his way to being a longhair his ownself, so I guess it still works out.

To keep this at least slightly on topic:Can I add something to my dream hair? If I can't have a twin to ChatoyantLocks' hair, can I at least get a copy of PhysicsChick's? It's basically my hair, only, what it will (hopefully) look like when it grows out to virgin classic. So... maybe 4-5 years or so?

This will be my first goal. I estimate that it'll take maybe 1 1/2 to 2 years to reach this length, at the rate that my hair is growing now, plus I plan to start using methods of making it grow faster.

My ultimate fro goal is to get it to reach all the way down to my butt. I'm not sure how long that would take, but I know it's attainable. Someone once saw a woman with 4a/b textured hair that went down to her thighs... Of course, if I can at least get it to mid back (in shrunken mode, mind you) I'd be perfectly content with that.

If I ever get tired of my fro I will put it in sisterlocks. I think that look is just so cool and unique. As well as elegant.

Yeah I have seen long colored hair also, but its just so much upkeep(even more than just natural hair) it became too much of a hassle. I had it for years and had to re-bleach every few months to keep it looking nice and re-dye every other week to keep the color looking fresh. I just grew tired of having to deal with that, not to mention that you have to be extremely careful with bleached hair because it is so fragile. I wish I could have it long green and less hassle ha ha. :cool:

I love my hair as it is... I love the color and the slight wave if I let it dry messy, but it can be straight if (CAREFULLY) comb it out when it's wet. I do wish it was a little hardier so I didn't have to be so CAREFUL with it all of the time.
