Hi Everyone :waving:

Today isn't my offical anniversary it's on the May 25th. But I will be away for that week visiting family. So I thought I would do it today :D

I joined up on Chistmas day. My hair was damaged, thin and a mess!

2001 2002 2006

I had mid thigh length ish hair and I dyed it blonde with a home kit! And I straightend every day. So in 2002 I chopped off 16 inch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :( As you can see in the 2002 picture it was bad bad bad!!!

It grow until about BSL but I did it again! I went back to dying it. I ended up with bad two tone hair so I cut it again to shoulder length in 2006.

http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/picture.php?pictureid=27986&albumid=2286&dl=1239132006&thumb=1 Here's my hair in December
Here I just started using shampoo bars. I stopped using cones and SLS.

This has to be the best my hair has ever been. Using the shampoo bars were great I loved them.

But the happiness with shampoo bars wasn't meant to last. I had major shed and as you can see in the picture my hair became dry, snapping and horrible! So I decided after reasearching here to try a cone free conditioner and SLS free shampoo.

That day I went out and bought faith in nature rosemary shampoo and hemp meadowfoam conditioner. I used it that night and the results were great! My hair instantly looked better.

Wow your hair looks so much better. You've been one of my hair-idols ever since I saw you on youtube and now that it looks even better than before I really want to know what you do to it. :eyebrows:

And what routine do you like best so far?

(I'm still trying to get around to a regular routine of Egg-shampoos (thanks to you :flowers: ), I'm just really bad at planning ahead, I usually just jump in the shower when needed, not taking the time to make a shampoo or vinegar rinse first. But once I get the hang of it, you'll be the first to know my progress, I promise :) )

Awww! Thank you for the lovely message :flowers:

I think what's helping my hair alot is jojoba oil and EVOO.

My hair routine at the moment is oiling daily with a drop of jojoba oil on my length and a drop of EVOO on my ends.

I CWC my hair weekly with Faith in Nature Rosemary shampoo SLS, SLES and parben free and Hemp meadowfoam conditioner parben and cone free. I always finish with a cool rinse.

I have also started using my new tangle teezer brush. I do love this brush it's great to use on wet hair

I also S+D every night.

So far I really like my new routine :D I think the Faith in Nature shampoo and conditioner is helping alot with my hair.

The shampoo bars after a while made my hair dry with greasy roots.

Also my hair doesn't like coconut oil no more :( It really made my ends crunchy and dry. So I changed to EVOO and my hair loves it :cheese:

I hope the egg shampoos work out of you :) Can't wait to hear your progress with them :)

Take care :blossom:
