Pixie to BSL in 2 years! ^.^

People keep saying I have super fast growth. I don't consider it fast, it always confuses me when people talk about it taking 5 years to go from chin to waist or something.

Anyway, this is my hair in May 2007

I'm pretty pleased with the growth and reckon I'll be at waist in about another year. I have to say that making sure you get your vitamins will make a big difference to your hair growth. Mine seems to grow twice as fast when I'm taking vitamins.

I am impressed! your hair is getting long! i'm glad you're letting it grow. It has taken more than 4 years for me to get to waist because I chopped and trimmed quite a bit. :p

Thanks guys! :) I only trimmed when I was growing out the pixie to avoid a mullet, but that's it. That was only in the first few months of growth.

Your hair looks great and yes it does grow fast. I had hair that short like 5 years ago and I'm still at BSL right now (it's mostly from trimming, but my hair grows the standard 1/2" per month).

Ahh the pixie cut mullet. I had one. My pixie was even shorter than that and like 1/2 inch long in the back.
BSL to waist seemed to go by super fast for me, way faster than shoulder to BSL even though it's about the same distance on me.

Let me just say that I remember your hair so well from when I first arrived on these boards. It was so incredibly gorgeous. I cannot believe it has been 2 years since you cut it short. I was a little disappointed when you cut it but you suit short hair so well with your delicate features and have always looked beautiful no matter what length your hair has been. I am amazed at your hair today and it seems to have suddenly sprouted in the last 6 months. I still remember my favorite photo of your hair where there is a bright light to the right of you and your hair was so perfect in that pics. Do you know the one?

I agree about the vitamins! My hair always seemed to grow really slow, but since I started taking Maxi Hair vitamins, my hair just sort of "jumped" from just below BSL to waist in just a few months....

I take iron supplements and a chewable multivitamin with vitamins A, C, B 12, B6, D (I think) and a bunch of other things in it. I don't remember exactly what's in it but it makes a huge difference to my growth. :)

I think my great hair growth is just making up for my sucky health. :lol:

My multivitamin is made by Boots (a drugstore here) and has vitamins A, D, E, C, B1, B2, B3, B6, B12, folic acid, pantothenic acid and inulin. :)

Maybe I just got really good genetics? I've never really thought about it because it's natural for me. But you are in the abyss between BSL and waist which seems to take a million years to get through.

Yeah I bleached a streak in the front in about the November or so then cut my hair in May the next year.
