:thud:Do you have a camera??? I would LOVE to be at waist right now!

Personally, I would leave it. At the very least wait out the two-week rule or make sure you don't have any day of doubt from now till your appointment. But then again, it is your decision. I can't say that I wouldn't cut back to BSL once I hit waist but have a ways to go before then.

I've seen gorgeous v-shaped hemlines. You could even consider a microtrim with Feye's trimming method.

Congrats on WL!!!! :)

I agree. leave it until you're sure. I also have a VERY deep "V" shape, and I've made peace with it and style it to make the most of it's shape (i.e. lots of curls and pretty updos). But, if after a couple of weeks it still bothers you, give yourself a small trim, or try a different style. Good luck!

id leave it or maybe cut it into a U shape this would be easier to trim to a blunt if that what you want, but hey well done on reaching waist ive another 14 months at least until im there!

Awesome! I am happy for you. I would definately leave it. If the hair is pretty healthy and not really split, Why cut it when you've finally reached waist. Embrace it! V-shaped or not. I bet it looks beautiful. Photos??? :)

leave it. it looks great. can't wait until mine gets there. I am just glad it is past BSL. if I were you I would do the trim myself and do only 1/8" trim each time I trim and that would take off some of the length help it look more U-shaped.

congrats!!

lacereza - im in the exact same boat....this is how i am going about it. Monthly 1cm trims (that is my growth rate) and then EVENTUALLY it will be U shaped, but i don't loose length!

Wow, that IS a deep-vee. Your hair is lovely, though, and seems to be in pretty good condition- i'd leave it for a while with micro-trims & then even it out when the shortest ends were nearer your waist.

Leave it. I actually love my v-shaped hemline- I feel so John Waterhouse painting-ish.

Your hair is lovely!

I think leaving it or not really depends on you! I am MUCH more attached to my thick, tidily groomed ends than I am to my length, so my impulse is always to trim rather than to let it be. However, if your priorities are the other way around, by all means, let it go!

You just have to pick: length, or hemline? Hemline, or length?

. . . good luck!

Congrats! I would leave it, I think, but like several others have suggested maybe you should go by the 2 week rule and wait. You can always trim it later.
