I could not think of a more suitable name in English - I hope it is not completely mistakable.

This is an updo I like a lot - it holds the whole day and makes my fine, thin hair look like more.

AND the updo looks differently everytime I do it - must have something to do with my hair's mood! ;)

1. Do a half-through ponytail
2. Take the fork, the prongs showing upward and insert it into the ponytail, right under the elastic.
3. Now turn the fork (vertically) until the prongs are showing downward, sticking behind the elastic.
4. Slide the fork downward and be sure to stay close to the scalp. whilst sliding down push the hair of the loop together from both sides.
5. Be sure that the prongs penetrate the very lowest part of the loop to stabilize it.

I am sorry, I am sort of an explanation-dummie in my own language, I hope someone can pick the meaning of my description....

Here the various results:

This sounds really interesting to try! I do have one question though: after inserting the fork the first time, with the prongs facing upwards, by turning, do you mean moving the fork vertically to move the prongs in the opposite direction, or do you mean turning in a circle to get the prongs to face the opposite way?

I hope that made sense- it did in my head!

I just turn them into the opposite direction, no cycle.

So hard to draw and explain, sorry!

I just did this hairstyle and I love it!
It holds very well and it looks like you have a lot of hair.
It's very feminine and pretty.

If this hasn't already been created you should name it "The Angel Bun" or the "Bun in Disguise".

I will be wearing my hair like this a lot.
Thank-You!

ETA: I only have a 2 prong fork and it works very well.
I may try a set of sticks sometime also.

I understood the instuctions! But I don't have a fork :(

It's a very nice style though, and you're right it *does* look different every time.

I am wearing my hair like this today and it looks very pretty! I have fairly thick, curly hair that is below BSL and I used a two prong fork. I am very updo "challenged" but this one was very easy...thank you! :cheese:

Did this today - thank you so much for posting this! This is a great way to wear those forks I still need to grow into...

The description is perfectly fine, by the way!

Ramona_Fosca, this is another reason why I like this do! ;) Really nice do, by the way!

Paper, this looks great! I think this updo will look different with every one depending on hair structure, length and so on.
