View Full Version : Reached my goal (when stretched)!

Because of my layers (resulting in artificial fairy-tale ends) and waves I always measure the longest tips of my hair, stretched. That way I have a more realistic idea of whether my hair is growing and how fast.

Well, as I was straightening a lock of hair for measuring earlier today, I noticed that the ends actually reached the top of my vertical smile - my ultimate goal, tailbone! Woo-hoo! :D And it only took 3 years and 9 months since I started growing from barely shoulder length... :rockerdud

Incidentally, the length is now 37.5", but I want to continue growing until it reaches tailbone wavy. After that, I may even start trimming... ;)

I'm still slightly incredulous myself - I'm both :cheese: and at the same time thinking 'it's not really tailbone until it's there wavy'. But it's great to celebrate with my friends at LHC! :D

For those who commented on the shine, it's thanks to henna, a recent temporary dye application, and a little UK sun...:sun:

I love seeing pictures of your hair! I'm so happy for you that you met your 'quasi' goal :D I've met mine in the same exact way. I want tail bone wavy, but it's currently tail bone when pulled straight.

Fantastic...and congrats... you mean I have almost 4 years to go before I reach my tail bone..:( Do you take any vitimans or suplements to help with hair growth? did you cut/trim at all over the last 4 years?
