This is my first fishtail braid:)
I watched some how to videos on youtube and that really helped.

I did this all by myself:)

Wow! That's so beautiful. I have never tried fishtail since it looks very labor intensive! Your fishtail is gorgeous, Darkchocolate!

That's awesome!!! It looks very nice and smooth, you really did a good job. I always have trouble with the hair from behind my neck to between my shoulders, but once I get it pulled over to the front, I can do the rest with no trouble. :)

You did a great job! I think fishtail braids are hard to do on yourself, but yours looks fabulous. :)

Wow, I've been practicing the fishtail braid for a while and mine doesn't look nearly as good as that. Fantastic job!

That looks great! now you have to work on a french fishtail to match!

I actually had a friend in high school who used to braid my hair this way but I could never figure out how to do it until I saw a youtube how to video :)

I am going to conquer the Dutch braid next:)

It is hard to braid your own hair but if there is not anyone else around to do it you have to do it:)
My arms get tired from starting it in the back but when I am able to swing my braid over my shoulder to finish it my arm is glad to get the rest:)

Wow! Good job, it really turned out great. That is a difficult braid to do and takes a lot longer to do, but the look of it is well worth all the time and arm pain haha.

Dark Chocolate! That is so lovely! Please give us the link to the youtube that you used to learn! I want to learn to do it on myself, I can do the fishtale on others, but my fingers are all thumbs for my own hair, so please share! I would love to be able to do my own fishtale! Your first fishtail? Wow, that looks amazing. You'll have no problem with the Dutch braid (can you French braid? I actually find it easier to do a Dutch).
I wore my hair in two herringbone braids today (same as fishtail). They're really fun and different. :)

That fishtail is wonderful! =o Haha, I'm trying to get a friend of mine to teach me and let me practice xP Braiding fascinates me, and I envy those who do it well =(
