I have dark brown hair that in some lights look black however due to relaxers my hair also has a slight reddish brown tint to it. I was thinking of using some rinses to add "highlights/ lowlights" to my hair. So the question is will the rinses damage my hair? and how long will they take to wash out? because I'm fickle so I will want the color to go away. I was thinking of using medium golden brown and maybe dark red brown or using darkest brown with a hint of burgundy.
Any advice or suggestions would be much appreciated. TIA

Rinses don't damage your hair, AFAIK. There's an expansive article by Nightshade in the articles section about herbal rinses for colour. I get the impression you want to lighten your colour with them, which you can't do, aside from with honey which is permanent, to my knowledge.
