View Full Version : My 3 yr LHC Anniversary.

Well it was technically on the 24th but close enough. When I found LHC my hair was nearly BSL and hadn't been cut since June 9th, 2004. I knew 2 updos. The ponytail and the scruncie bun. I was pretty sure it would never be as long as I wanted it to be. It was about 19" (i think)

3 years later. I'm at nearly classical, just one inch shy. It's still thick and a pain in the summer time. The sun makes it feel like its on fire but I wouldn't cut it for anything in the world. I love my long hair and I can do lots of different updos (even though I stick to my fav. the sruncie bun). This from a few weeks ago and is wavy from braids but it's still about the same length.

It's been nearly 5 years since I cut my bsl lenght hair into a 'cute' pixie. I hated it and vowed to never cut my hair again. And so far I've done good. Only 3 trims in that time. Never again.

Wish I had better pics for you guys but I'm at work and my camera is at home. Maybe soon I'll get some nice pics. Here's to 3 wonderful fun filled years at LHC.:cheese:

You have some lovely curls on you. YAY for you! My hair's about the same length as yours was when you started. Clearly I have a lot to look forward to.

my goodness your hair has grown to a beautiful length . brilliant example on how quickly hair can grow.
so judging by those picks i have 2 half years to go roughly to reach your length - "very inspiring"

Thanks you guys. It's great to know that while I may be no Dianyla or Cinnamon Hair I can still be a hair inspiration to others.

wow Cassie! you are my hero :D interesting, that you have wavy hair when wet, but on the avatar they look shiny like a chesnut :D I always wanted shiny hair, but was satisfied with only volume. now I feel that I should achieve everything!

My hair was wavy from the dutch braids I had it in. My hair is much straighter naturally. And sadly no more recent pics. The shine is mostly from the flash I think and partly from not being washed.
