View Full Version : One month since haircut/ Epic hair day (pic heavyish)

Hi everyone!
I couldn't help but be excited about this!:cheese: A little over a month ago, I had my first trim in a year. I had reached hip, but my hair wasn't looking great (actually, it looked terrible). Reluctant to lose length I trimmed off about an inch, maybe a bit more. Here is a picture from the day before the trim, my hair is slightly damp.

Looking back at that photo, I realize I did my hair so much good by trimming.
I then challenged myself and wore my hair up for a month, which was really hard at first, but I got used to it much faster than I anticipated. Here is my hair today, and I am thrilled with how it's looking (today was an especially good hair day)! I thought I would share with you all :D (I altered the colors on the first photo, the lighting in my bathroom is so bad) Thanks for looking!

Wow! Your hair just looks beautiful; the color, the waves AND the hemline!

I think I'll do a very minor dusting of my ends on April 30th and starting May 1st, wear my hair up for a month. . .because, clearly, you are doing all the right things.

Any other secrets to your success you want to share?

beautiful! I like the colour, it's not often I see people with that light shade of blonde AND healthy hair:) (of course, I don't know if your colour is natural or not, but it doesn't matter, it's really beautiful!)

The trim made a world of difference. It looked great before but much better after the trim. Beautiful!!!
