Let's be silly.:silly:

Do you henna? Do you dye? Do your roots come up every month? Do other people remind you it is time to do them? Do you think it is as funny as I do? Are your roots fierce? Show us your roots!

Here are mine at their rootiest!

I use to color. Nobody has ever said I need to dye it again. I'm just growing it out now.

I only dye my roots now, but I'm considering switching to henna instead.

Sorry about the timestamp. For some strange reason, my phone does that automatically.

My roots are pretty funny looking. My hair is like a medium aubourn (but pretty light at the top) and my roots are black, so when I want to pull my bangs up with a bobby pin it looks pretty strange =]

This is funny. I just took a picture of my roots while my hair was drying. :p Great timing.

So, yeah. I henna. You can barely see the demarcation line between the henna and my roots.

I also just realized there's the really horrifying little cartoon I drew in the background.

As of 2:30 this afternoon I am root-free. My fabulous hair guy fixed me up and I am sooo happy.

Here's an old one from back when I was still hennaing.

Oh I have about three inches of roots right now :) I'm getting the highlights touched up at the end of May (my stylist is pregnant, and by then she will have had the baby and be back to work!).

My hair is naturally dark blonde, and the roots don't look that bad. I actually saw a makeover where the stylist deliberately left about six inches of roots on one girl, in order to have a "carefree" look :)

Hunter created deliberate roots by starting highlights six inches away from Walker’s part. “The result is casual, not primped,” Hunter says

My roots are nowhere near that dark, hahaha.

I henna, it makes my hair shine lighter. Without light it is all one color.

This is from February, I'm growing out my henna. The colours are not accurate but it shows the virgin/hennaed hair really well!

I dye.
These are mine right now. I won't bother with them untill summer is over. I'm really rough on my hair in the summer.

I am a natural blond so I use Sun In a couple times a month(mostly in the fall and winter) but ONLY 10-15 mists from the pre mixed bottle. It boosts the color very slightly. I have used this for 25 years! It does not cover gray, as you can see a few strands
