2 Year Anniversary

Ok, actually a year and a half, from the time I started being active on the boards. I joined April '07, and took my first length photo in Oct '07. My photos are 1.5 years of growth.

My goal was waist and pulled straight, I've reached my goal.

I consider myself having reached my goal, Pulled Straight, only. I still haven't reached it quite yet, as it just hangs. But I'm close.

I'm not sure if I will grow longer or not. I guess I will just take it day by day, I already find myself thinking of cutting off about 5 inches to get rid of splits. I am so close to my goal now, i am not going to cut/trim just yet.

I think our very hard water has alot to do with all the splits I am finding I have. My DD 13 has hair that has never been permed, heat styled, etc, and she has just as many splits in the bottom 5 inches, as I have. Hard water is very drying to hair, I believe.

You give me hair inspiration Yogachic! I can't believe how long it's gotten, it was only a few weeks ago that it was BSL wasn't it?

I do believe hard water is very nasty stuff, too many minerals and stuff that coats our hair and is too rough on it. My water is so hard it leaves rings on a glass overnight, and of course DH never remembers to fill the softener for months :rolleyes:
