I think of mine as being fairy tailed, but the picture from when I blow dried it straight doesn't look that way...

In any case, if this helps (and I dunno about the maintenance piece, it just grows that way)

Same. Got mine from avoiding any and all cutting of hair for a couple of years. My hair just grows that way.
