I would say, 2c/3a, but you could be a 3a. Those spirals are pretty! I find that keeping the hair moisturized (conditioner, distilled water misting) and ditching the brush help with curl formation.

I would call it 2c with 3a potential. Do you notice more spirals now that it is longer?

I reached 3a and got there by babying, but yours looks a lot healthier than mine to begin with, so you may not need as much moisture as I use. So the only things I know to encourage the curl more are styling products like gel. Ones that aren't damaging exist.

Oh, and to help the spirals along- try some AVG, scrunch it in while wet, and air-dry without touching. Don't know what your regular routine is, though.

I help my spirals along by twirling sections of hair around my lightly gelled fingers. I can't tell what your classification is, yet. Give it some more length.

I would guess a 3c, mines a 2c and you have more spiral curls forming than me. Of course, as your hair gets longer, it may curl less because of the weight. Your hair is gorgeous!x

I will revise my answer. I think it is 3a. Now that it's longer it seems to be spiralling more, that's the sign there.

Here's the good news about 3a. When it gets long enough we can just stretch it into an updo and wear it as straight hair that way, so it's versatile like that.

Bad news: shrinkage! But that's the case for all curls. You can measure it pulled straight, I won't tell anyone :)
