Yes it's very pretty! Though I don't think it's fashioned in the shape of a grassy surface. Then again I suppose if you were to lay a sword down on grass and not disturb the grass perhaps it would be the shape after about a year...naw that wouldn't work either :D

Gorgeous, though also out of my price range. With an antique like that I'd be afraid to even wear it anyway :o

Lovely to look at though, I sure hope whoever ends up buying it gives it a good home.

Oh heck yeah, mine too! I guess some lucky antique collector will end up with it.

It's beautiful, but what is the pin part made out of? It looks like Bakelite in the photos, but that would mean of course much later than Victorian....? :ponder:

Anyhoo, it's lovely and I wish I could bid on it!

I was thinking that, too - I would want authentication before paying so much for an apparent antique. (I hate to be a stickler, but the spelling errors and typos don't give me a lot of reassurance.)

Yes, it is beautiful. :)

Argh! I can't see it but I did notice a very pretty Victorian hairbrush for 55.00.I've always wanted one with the matching mirror.
